The Abbasid Shrine announces the details of Al-Joud Factory for intravenous solutions

The holy al-Abbas Shrine announced statistical details about Al-Joud Factory for intravenous solutions.

The Al-Kafeel Global Network affiliated with the Holy Shrine published a press statement by the authorized director of the factory, Engineer Haider Shaker, stating that “the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine is preparing to open the Al-Joud factory, which will operate with a production capacity of up to 27 million packages of intravenous solutions annually.”

He added, “The factory will produce more than 24 types of solutions in different categories, noting that “intravenous solutions are manufactured according to international specifications; with the aim of contributing to achieving drug security and supporting the health sector in Iraq.”

The Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine announced the imminent opening of the Al-Joud laboratory for medical intravenous solutions, which contributes to achieving drug security and providing millions of bottles of nutritional fluids. This project is considered one of the most prominent pioneering initiatives in the field of supporting the health sector.

For his part, the Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, confirmed during his visit to the laboratory that “the laboratory will contribute significantly and effectively to achieving drug security for Iraq, by providing millions of bottles of nutritional fluids, whether for the institutions of the Ministry of Health or for private sector institutions.”

The head of the Shiite Endowment Diwan, Dr. Haider Al-Shammari, said: “The Al-Joud Laboratory for Intravenous Solutions affiliated with the Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine is one of the advanced and distinguished projects, and includes the latest technical devices for the production of intravenous solutions.” He added that “the laboratory will meet the needs of all health institutions for nutritional fluids, and there is an urgent need for it.”

Mr. Mustafa Murtadha Al-Dia Al-Din, Secretary General of the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, stated that “under the direction of the legal custodian of the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, Mr. Ahmed Al-Safi, all the devices manufactured in the Al-Joud factory were selected from the finest international sources, in addition to providing specialized Iraqi staff with consultants specialized in this field.” He added that “the interest in the factory’s devices comes to ensure the production of a medically accurate product according to international standards, in support of health institutions in the country and in service of the Iraqi citizen.” The head of the Engineering Projects Department of the Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, Engineer Diaa Al-Sayegh, explained that “the Al-Joud factory contributes to supporting the medical sector from health centers, hospitals and clinics in the country, with the nutrient material that is used in most therapeutic and surgical operations, in addition to other intravenous solutions.” He added that “it will produce pharmaceutical industries with high specifications that conform to international specifications, and with machines from solid origins instead of importing them from outside the country, which achieves advanced rates of pharmaceutical sufficiency in the local market, in addition to employing workers and saving hard money for the country.”

In turn, Mr. Ahmed Faleh, a member of the Iraqi Ministry of Health delegation who visited the factory, said: “The Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine is working excellently to support pharmaceutical industries in Iraq, through its establishment of the Al-Joud Laboratory for Intravenous Solutions, which upon completion will support national pharmaceutical industries and achieve advanced rates of pharmaceutical sufficiency in the local market.” He added that “the work lines that the Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine has brought in to the Al-Joud Laboratory for Intravenous Solutions are more than wonderful with the presence of specialized cadres from countries with extensive experience in the field of pharmaceutical industries, which will help in the field of training and rapid operation of Iraqi cadres.”

The project’s general supervisor, Engineer Haider Shaker Rashid, said: “The recent visit of the Ministry of Health committee gave us the green light to register the project and update the various completion rates of the civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical works of the Al-Joud Laboratory for the manufacture of intravenous solutions.” He added that “the project was evaluated by the Ministry of Health committee as one of the best pharmaceutical projects in Iraq, and it works according to the specifications of good pharmaceutical manufacturing, and keeps pace with all modern technologies for the production of various intravenous solutions.” He continued that “the factory works according to an integrated vision to produce various types of intravenous solutions, up to 24 types of high quality; with the aim of supporting the health sector in Iraq,” noting that “direct work continues until late hours with foreign companies installing laboratory equipment, which were imported from prestigious European origins.”
