The delegations participating in the opening ceremony of the Al-Joud Factory for Intravenous Solutions of the Abbasid Holy Shrine conducted a field tour to see its details.
This came after the opening ceremony of the factory, which was attended by the legal custodian of the holy shrine, Mr. Ahmed Al-Safi, a number of its officials, religious and official figures, and specialists from inside and outside Karbala Governorate.
The Al-Joud factory is distinguished by its adoption of devices and equipment from the best international sources, and produces more than 24 types of intravenous solutions, which contributes to enhancing drug security and supporting the health sector in Iraq.
The Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine opened, on Wednesday evening, the Al-Joud factory for intravenous solutions in Karbala Governorate, under the management, implementation, and financing of the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine, and under the supervision of a specialized international company. It is a qualitative addition to the Iraqi health sector, as it is scheduled to produce 27 million bottles annually to meet the needs of health institutions in the country.
